Ting technicians are currently onsite splicing the final fibers of a temporary line. Most of the impacted customers have recovered and have service restored. We project an Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR) of 4:00 PM.

Our team has confirmed that the damage to the Ting fiber optic lines was caused by excavation activity. Ting technicians are currently onsite laying a temporary line and performing the splicing. We estimate an Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR) of 1:00 PM. Thank you for your patience.

Ting Internet engineers are working to repair a fiber cut in the Charlottesville Airport area this morning. This outage impacts customers in the airport area only. We will provide an ETA for restoration as soon as it is available.

We have identified an issue causing a service impact to a number of customers in Charlottesville, VA including direct internet access / enterprise services.
